Networking

MITA holds events at least once a month. There are three types of events: business breakfast, luncheon and networking reception. Breakfast and lunch programs provide attendees with a minimum of 3/4 of an hour to network before the program begins. MITA's networking receptions focus solely on giving attendees an opportunity to meet, talk, get to know each other and build relationships.

Relationships are the foundation for successful business and MITA prides itself on providing the best networking opportunities in the area. Looking back on its growth in attendance and popularity since its re-birth in January 1999 (membership is up over 300%) we know we are doing something right!

The Business Breakfast
MITA held its first business breakfast in June 2000. The idea behind the business breakfast is to make it easier for manufacturers to attend. Breakfasts are typically  held from 8:00  - 9:30 a.m.

The Luncheon
MITA luncheons generally include a featured speaker and are held from noon - 2 p.m. The luncheon format is fairly classic yet distinctive due to MITA's relaxed and fun atmosphere.

The Networking Reception
MITA's networking receptions are just that: networking receptions. They usually take place from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Very casual and informal, these networking events do not have a formal program. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and alcoholic beverages are served.
